About ShoutMeet Tour

Harsh's Agrawal Shoutmeet is about to get completed but not until he meets Bloggers from Hyderabad and he was there at Collab House on September 17, 2015 as the ninth city in the list of his historical tour. The event was organized by Magazine3 and it was the day of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Hyderabad Round

Since Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the major festival in Telangana, I didn't expect much turn around but I was surprised to see nothing less than 130 bloggers turning up for the event. The event kicked-off at sharp 5 PM as planned and here was the event agenda.

Event Agenda

Time is precious and the most precious thing that you can give anyone is time, thanks Harsh for giving his valuable time to connect with Bloggers in Hyderabad. In order to complete things in time, the following event agenda was framed by guys at Magazine3 -

  • 5 p.m - Opening & Welcome (5 Minutes)
  • 5:05 p.m. to 6:00 p.m - Interactive session with Harsh Agarwal (55 Mins)
  • 6:01 p.m. to 6:15 p.m - First Speaker, Ajay Mishra will be sharing his blogging experience. (15 mins)
  • 6:16 p.m. to 6:30 p.m -Second Speaker, Pallavi Ruhail will share her blogging experience. (15 mins)
  • 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m - Questions and Answers session with Harsh Agrawal (1 hour)
  • 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m - Giveaways, Snacks & Networking
  • 8:00 p.m. to 8:02 p.m - Closing remarks (5 min)

And the Event Started

Harsh started the event with opening and welcome note then followed with interactive session. By the time clocked ticked 5:05, the hall was filled with a number of bloggers, some of the were even standing. But thanks to guys at Magazine3 who ensured that everyone got their seat but I preferred to stand for the whole event because "health is wealth" and I always keep looking for those things.

Invited Speakers

Then came up prominent city's blogger Ajay Mishra & Pallavi Ruhail to share their experience on blogging. It was an impressive speech from Ajay Mishra who is an awesomeness coach, inspirational writer and motivational speaker. Great speech I must say as blogging isn't about writing and getting traffic, you should be positive toward life and all the motivation that you should need going forward. You can learn more about Ajay Mishra at Awesomeaj.com.

Pallavi Singh Ruhail on other side is a fashion blogger at Thatdelhigirl.com. She talked about how her hobby has made herself a blogger and how she achieved success. Further she sai how to approach brands, agencies and other do's and don't s when you are in the field of fashion where brand approaches you for promotion. I think many of you will need it going in the long run when your blog becomes famous.

Q & A Session

Then came the question and answer session when people asked a number of question, mostly new blogger tips like should I go with free blog or self-hosted WordPress blog, monetization options, premium WordPress vs free themes.

As the clock ticked 7:30, I was hungry, there came the giveaway time. Harsh invited bloggers who are running a website for 2-3 years old website. I went up on stage along with exactly 6 other bloggers and as a part of my experience on how odd niche sounds to people, I choose to introduce my bestbathroomtips.com. The audience had to choose 5 winners and there we have the results - Hyderabad bloggers were not interested in odd-niche and acceptable because when you have Biryani, why will you go with Chole Bhature.

Giveaways

Harsh ensured there are giveaway for those who needed it. It was 8:30 by the time everyone had their selfies with Harsh.

Definitely a great meetup, especially for those who have just stepped into blogging. My thanks to Ahmed Kaludi and other guys at Magazine3 for organizing such a nice event and million thanks to Harsh.
